The Express Plus from Braun Ambulances is an extremely versatile Type 1 ambulance. It is a 150" module with 72" of headroom. Guthrie Fire Department chose this model for its extensive customization, large storage space, and Braun's standard safety features. Highlighting these features is an all-aluminum module: there is NO wood in the module of these ambulances. Other features GFD chose were Whelen M Series lights, Braun's EZ O2 Lift, a rugged Ali Arc front bumper, and Braun's standard sliding door.
Guthrie Fire Department took delivery of these two beautiful Braun Ambulances from Pinnacle Emergency Vehicles in August 2020. GFD chose Pinnacle due to our many brand/model options, commitment to service, and our many years of experience in the EMS industry. Braun Ambulances are known throughout the U.S. for their safety, quality, and innovation.
The interior of Guthrie Fire Department's ambulances were built with efficiency in mind. The Power-LOAD system from Stryker is becoming a very popular feature, saving the backs of Paramedics and EMTs.
This ambulance also came with a motion-sensor to automatically turn some lights on when stepping in the ambulance, a recessed suction canister to save space on the countertop, and locking Knox Medvault behind the attendant seat. Take a look at some other photos to see what else GFD chose.
A fully-welded aluminum module with extensive customization and high-quality craftsmanship is what you can expect when choosing Braun Ambulance. Being a dealer since 2014, Pinnacle has plenty of experience in these ambulances and can help get you in the model that fits your needs.
